If you've been clearing up the garden shed and find yourself with a few garden tools, pots and whatnots that are either broken, cracked, or just too old, don't be in too much of a hurry to toss them out. They make great indoor accessories as you can see in my article on decorating with garden antiques. To me, anything is an antique if it's old. I don't worry too much about dates but what the thing looks like.
You can use old gardening stuff as desk accessories in your home office, old pails and watering cans as flower vases, and transform an old garden rake or hoe into something more interesting if you forget about its original function. Hanging on the garden shed door, this old leaf rake serves as a vase. I added a plastic cigar container to hold flowers. I've also used the same rake as a candle sconce. Most people who see it don't even realize what it was originally!
